Uses of Twin-Screw Press: The twin-screw press is a continuous twin-screw press used for solid-liquid separation of materials containing certain fibers or viscosity, such as grape pomace after fermentation, ginger, spinach, rubber, Chinese herbal medicine, winter jujube, and other fruits and vegetables with certain fibers for juice extraction. It is also used for continuous juicing of sea buckthorn berries that have been destemmed or contain small stems. The sieve holes are specially designed according to the size of sea buckthorn seeds. Working Principle and Structure of Twin-Screw Press: The working process of this twin-screw press is as follows: the feeding screw pushes the material entering the feed box toward the pressing screw. Through the reduction of the screw pitch and the increase in shaft diameter of the pressing screw, and under the resistance of the sieve wall and the conical body, the liquid (juice) contained in the material is squeezed out. The extruded liquid flows out through the sieve holes and collects in the juice collection hopper. The pressed pomace is discharged from between the end of the sieve cylinder and the conical body. The rear part of the conical body is equipped with a spring. By adjusting the preload and position of the spring, the discharge resistance and the size of the pomace outlet can be changed to regulate the dryness of the press. The 5, 10, and 20-ton/hour presses feature twin screws rotating in opposite directions, providing strong and uniform pressing force on the material. The conical body at the pomace outlet is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder. Adjusting the oil pressure can change the pressing effect on the material and adjust the juice yield. This machine can also be used for solid-liquid separation of other materials, with varying effectiveness depending on the quality of the material.
